hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry is a prestigious magical school located in scotland, teaching magical arts to young witches and wizards. it sits on a high cliff that overlooks a great loch, unplottable by muggle eyes. hogwarts' motto is: "draco dormiens nunquam titillandus", meaning: "never tickle a sleeping dragon."

there are approximately one thousand students attending hogwarts at any given time. upon arriving at the school on 1 September, students are sorted into four houses: gryffindor, hufflepuff, ravenclaw, and slytherin, based on the qualities and aspirations of the student. houses are rewarded with points for good behavior, quidditch match victories, and so forth, while points are taken away for wrongdoing. at the end of each term, the house with the most points wins the house cup.

New Posts Classroom Twenty-Three

Classroom Twenty-Three is a very spacious and tidy classroom with several chairs, desks, and a blank chalk board to the left occupying a small portion of the space. Students seldom use room Twenty-Three for their own personal studies, for regular meetings with club members, or to meet with their professors for extra help. With Ancient Runes often in session, one can hear the lively lectures down the hall from classroom twenty-three. need to get some extra studying done?

New Posts Moaning Myrtle's Bathroom

Myrtle was a student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry who died as a result of an unfortunate event that had occurred many, many years ago at Hogwarts, involving the hidden Chamber of Secrets. Regrettably for Myrtle, she did not get the chance to live her life as others did. She only remains in this abandoned lavatory with none other than the company of her dirty cubicle. For this reason, the ghost earned the title of ‘Moaning Myrtle’ at Hogwarts.
