No New Posts Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

welcome to hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry, a british wizarding boarding school located in scotland, founded by four great founders: godric gryffindor, helga hufflepuff, rowena ravenclaw, and salazar slytherin. the castle sits upon a mountain's cliff overlooking a great lake, but the precise location is unplottable, never to be found by muggles. hogwarts' centuries-old motto is "draco dormiens nunquam titillandus", meaning: "never tickle a sleeping dragon". enter the grand castle, and prepare for the adventure of a lifetime.

No New Posts Hogwarts Grounds

one of the many notable characteristics about hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry is its majestic scenery. the school's grounds are quite extensive, encompassing a large forest with enough open space that the castle's residents never noticed the fiery breath and roaring of a group of four, angry dragons kept in a paddock for the triwizard tournament in 1994-1995. beautiful and lush, the grounds slope from the castle's entrance and lawns down to the gamekeeper's hut. a road runs around the lake to the village of hogsmeade, where students take frequent trips during scheduled weekend visits.

No New Posts Hogsmeade Village

hogsmeade village is proof that getting older is so much fun! students from hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry can attend school trips to hogsmeade on designated weekends, so long as they are third years and up, and their permission slips have been signed by their parents! hogsmeade is a beautiful village with an impressive history, and the only settlement in britain that is solely inhabited by magical beings, located to the north west of hogwarts. fancy a treat from the sweetshop, or a chilled butterbeer from the three broomsticks? then treat yourself to a hogsmeade weekend visit for some excitement!

No New Posts Hogsmeade Station

hogsmeade station is a rather small, dark platform located in hogsmeade village, where the hogwarts express ends its journey far north from platform nine-and-three-quarters in london. the station is located near the black lake, and from there the long, winding road extends around the lake to hogwarts castle. the station is actually quite a distance from the village itself, running from the opposite end of hogwarts' grounds. at the station is a small cluster of buildings, one being a rest stop for the conductor of the hogwarts express.

No New Posts King's Cross Station

despite the daily hustle and bustle present at the king’s cross station, it is a small price to pay for missing your train ride. whether you’re running late for another day of work, or taking the train for a stopover at a friend's, this station holds all the trains that will take you anywhere. if you do not know which trains will be departing soon, there are handy schedules nearby to take care of your needs, so you know where to find your train. what? a hidden platform in the station?
